About Us

KVG Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Sullia, was established to expand quality healthcare education in the region. The institute functions under the Academy of Liberal Education (AOLE). After assuming charge of AOLE, Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda Chidananda took initiatives to strengthen professional education and established this institute to meet the growing demand for trained allied health professionals. At its inception, Dr. Sathyavathi served as the Founder Principal and laid a strong academic foundation.

The institute started in the year 2018 with B.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology and B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology programs. In 2019, it expanded by introducing B.Sc. programs in Anesthesia Technology, Renal Dialysis Technology, Optometry, and Emergency and Trauma Care Technology, thereby strengthening its role in paramedical education.

Further growth was seen in 2022 with the introduction of B.Sc. Cardiac Care Technology, B.Sc. Respiratory Care Technology, and BASLP (Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology). In 2024, the institute added B.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology, M.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (with specializations in Microbiology, Immunology, and Hematology), M.Sc. Biochemistry, M.Sc. Clinical Psychology, and M.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology.

In 2025, the Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) program was introduced. The institute has grown steadily in infrastructure, faculty, and clinical training facilities.
